MI.WO.C. Migrant women: integration through creativity
The project is based on the experimentation of different types of interventions by the partners in order to reach our main objective: to offer a wide framework of informal learning activities that favour the integration and the
working insertion in the labour market of migrant women.
Each partner will focus its training proposal on one or two key skills.
The project will develop its activities starting from the needs analysis of the target
groups, taking in due account the differences of provenience, the migration projects of each person and the specific problems in the different partner countries, through the realisation of actions that will refer to the following
key skills for lifelong learning:
- Mother tongue communication;
- Foreign languages communication;
- Digital skills;
- Social and civic skills;
- Initiative and entrepreneurial skills;
- Application of
numbers;
- Cultural awareness and manifestation in its different expressions.
Partners will develop the activities consistently with their specific missions and practices, sharing their tasks on the base of the above
mentioned key skills and on the base of the training needs of migrant women living in their territory.
In order to reach the goal of the project, we will go through the following stages:
- European context analysis
in relation to the phenomenon of women migration and the situation in each partner country;
- Exchange among the partners about the needs analysis of the target groups (migrant women);
- Development of different methods
and training actions to support key skills learning (informal);
- Experiences exchange among partners and other stakeholders engaged in the Partnership (other learners, migrants' communities, VET communities, public and
private bodies dealing with migration policies and practices).
The framework of interventions targeted to foster the "creativity of migrant women" will be widely disseminated and through the countinous peer-reviews among
partner and stakeholders, the consortium could find new drives of actions to improve the well-being of migrants and hosting countries' citizens.
